Christian Wegert is a pastor and director of the Arche Church and Missions Organization. He studied civil engineering and was self-employed in this profession for several years.

In 2007, he went to the USA with his family to study at a pastor's college. In October 2010, he was confirmed by the congregation as the new Senior Pastor of the Arche, succeeding his father Wolfgang.

Christian and his wife, Verena, have three children.
